Our favorite type of fundraiser is one in which we spend almost no time or money, and yet bring in funds for the school. You can support CCS by participating in the following ongoing fundraisers (tell your friends and family too by sending them the link to this page):
Boxtops for Education
Coordinator: Kelly Patenaude
Earn cash for our school by clipping 10¢ Box Tops from hundreds of products and sending them in with your child to their homeroom teacher. You can sign up at this link to follow our progress throughout the year. You can follow this link to see all of the participating products.
CCS has another ongoing fundraiser through Scrip in which we can order gift cards from a huge list of vendors with no additional cost to you, but a great financial benefit to the school. Attached you can see the Scrip order form . The list of vendors include iTunes, Kohls, JCPenneys, Macys, Sears, Payless, Ross, TJMaxx, Marshalls, Applebees, Fridays, Ruby Tuesdays, Red Lobster, Outback, Burger King, Dunkin Donuts, Dominos, KFC, Panera, STARBUCKS, Papa Johns, Subway, Wendys, Target, Kmart, Walmart, Best Buy, Radio Shack, Chevron, Shell, Speedway, Winn Dixie, Home Depot, Lowes, Supercuts, CVS, Walgreens, Michaels, GNC, TOYS R Us, Bass Pro Shops, Sports Authority, Disney, AND MANY, MANY MORE.
Most of the cards have a higher percent of benefit for the school, but as an easy example, if every family in the school (150) bought $100 of gas from Shell (2.5% benefit) each week all year using these prepaid "gift" cards, the school would make $19,500. While being organized to make your personal purchases through these types of cards is a bit challenging, the potential for the school to benefit from each family spending the exact same amount of money as they would normally on groceries, shoes, etc., is amazing.
Simply turn in to the order form to the main office with a check made payable to CCS and we'll call you when they arrive. PLEASE place an order for any gift cards you might need as Christmas gifts right now. CCS can easily benefit by $3,000-$5,000 if we all simply purchase our Christmas gift cards through this method by 12/9.

My Coke Rewards
Coordinator: Michael Stewart
Our school is registered with My Coke Rewards and we are accumulating points to purchase sports equipment and other supplies for our school. This is yet another fundraising effort that requires little time and effort and you can be directly involved! There are two simple ways to donate your points to the school. One is to simply cut them out and send them in with your child to their homeroom teacher. The points can be found under the caps of bottles and on the inside of cardboard packages (12-packs, 24-packs, etc). Another option is to create a My Coke Rewards account online by following this link, enter the codes off of the products you buy, and choose the option to donate your points. Then you simply search for our school and the points are donated to us.
Coordinator: Veronica Salcido
We use Dade Recycling for another easy means to earn cash for our school while helping to protect our environment. The recycling bin is located right next to the glass trophy case in the lobby. Many parents who work at large offices have been especially helpful in recycling printer cartridges, but Dade Recycling takes many more items! The following items are accepted by Dade Recycling:
Cell Phones: Dade Recycling pays between $0.25 and $200 for every cell phone. Prices on our list reflect working phones only. Working phones are phones that include a battery, turn on, have good LCD screens, are able to make a test call and are not cracked or otherwise damaged. Broken phones will be credited 20% of the corresponding working phone price. We will also pay $0.25 for phones that do not appear on our buyback list.
Cell Phone Accessories: You may include all accessories such as chargers, cases, earpieces, as long as they belong to cell phones.
Inkjet Cartridges: Dade Recycling pays up to $3.00 for every Re-usable inkjet cartridge according to our buyback list. Unlike most competitors we do pay for Epson, Canon, and Brother Ink tanks. Re-usable ink cartridges are cartridges that have not been refilled before, are not cracked, have good electric circuits, and have intact nozzle plates.
Toner Cartridges: Dade Recycling pays up to $12.00 for every Re-usable toner cartridge according to our buyback list. We accept every laser toner cartridge included in our list or not and we will credit your account according to our buyback price list for brand name cartridges that have only been used once.
