Athletics

Colonial Christian School desires to honor God each time that our students take the field or court.  The purpose of our athletic program is to enhance the overall school experience and give students opportunities to develop additional skills beyond the traditional academic ones.  They are encouraged to maintain a strong level of physical fitness in an effort to care for their physical temple.  They have the opportunity to build perseverance, leadership skills, courage, humility, patience, self-control, teamwork, and many other worthy qualities. When coached in our Christian environment, students have the opportunity to make application of Bible lessons and chapels in other settings, training them for life.

Our coaches must be born-again believers, with a strong knowledge of their sport and interest and ability to develop students, both in their sport, and in their walk with Christ.  They must exhibit the fruit of the Spirit before, during, and after games.  They also must pass an online test for the FHSAA rules that govern their sport.
We are seeking team parents for each sport.  These parents will support the students in raising funds for their sport for equipment, camps, and items such as t-shirts or jackets.  These parents may also take the lead in organizing concessions for sports with home games on our field.  Please complete the Volunteer Form if you are willing to serve.

Do you have an interest in supporting Patriot Athletics?  We are currently seeking donations from community organizations and businesses in order to continue to serve our students with a high-quality athletics program.  Our hope is that you would consider giving a donation of $300 towards our goal.  In order to thank your organization for your support, we would like to display a banner (the specifications of which and form are found here) on the fence of our athletic field for the rest of the school year.  This will let our parents and the community know which businesses and organizations are investing in our students.  We thank you and your organization in advance for your support.
