CCS Spiritual Life

The students begin each day with prayer and a Bible lesson (in the elementary), or a devotional (for the secondary students, who additionally have a Bible class daily). The school utilizes a Christian curriculum throughout all grade levels. Every textbook is purchased from a Christian book publisher and is richly infused with the Word of God. Our music classes utilize Christian music exclusively. Our drama department presents productions and skits that are faith based. Our athletics department is defined by our testimony in Christ, and every coach emphasizes that standard. All major evening events including Homecoming, the Junior/Senior Banquet, the Sports Banquet, and Graduation include a message from the Word of God and prayer. Each event that is placed on the calendar is assessed for its overall consistency with the Word of God and our desire to see families built on the Scriptures as their very foundation, utilizing CCS as a resource in so doing.
