Step Up for Students Scholarship
About Step Up For Students
Step Up For Students was created by the Florida Legislature in 2001 to help alleviate the enormous educational challenges faced by children in Florida. Since then, over a million scholarships have been awarded. The program provides Tax Credit Scholarships to students in K-12 who come from lower-income families. These scholarships allow the students to consider a participating private school such as CCS that may better suit their individual needs. They are awarded on a first-come, first-served basis, so it is important to check the website regularly and meet all of the scholarships requirements and deadlines. Students who qualifyfor the free or reduced school lunch program may qualify for a Step Up For Students Scholarship. For the 2021-22 school year, scholarships awards ranged from $7,067 – $7,626 for private school tuition.
Step Up For Students Mission Statement
