Intro to Guidance
Colonial Christian School seeks to “train our students for life.” We provide a well-rounded curriculum and encourage participation in rigorous academic studies, extracurricular activities, and community service. Activities at the elementary level, such as community helpers series and learning center times, help students develop a sense of how they may want to serve their community one day. In middle school, students learn effective study habits and develop life long 21st Century Skills that will serve them throughout high school and beyond. They begin to research careers and steps needed to reach their goals.
In high school, classes become more rigorous and more flexibility is offered in elective choices to help students begin to hone the skills needed to enter their desired career field. Academies offer students a chance to participate in a career focused elective giving them an opportunity to experience various options within their desired career field. All Colonial Christian Student graduates have all of the course work and volunteer hours necessary for admissions to the Florida College System as well as Bright Futures Awards. SAT Practice and Prep opportunities are offered on campus every year.
